Little Roots Farm Manager

Little Roots Farm Manager is the private desktop application used by Little Roots Farm in Tasmania to manage planting, harvests, deliveries, inventory, invoices and statements.

Gmail invoice drafts

Authorised farm staff can connect a Google account and create a Gmail draft containing a selected invoice PDF. The user reviews the recipient, subject, message and attachment in Farm Manager, then reviews and sends the draft in Gmail.

The application creates drafts only. It does not automatically send emails or read the Gmail inbox. Google describes the required Gmail permission as “Manage drafts and send emails”; Farm Manager uses that permission to create the drafts requested by the user.

Private farm records

Farm Manager runs locally on the farm’s Windows computer. Farm records and invoice history are stored locally. Connecting Gmail is optional and can be disconnected in the application or revoked through the connected Google account.

The application is for Little Roots Farm’s authorised operators. This page provides information about the application and its Google connection; it does not provide public access to the farm’s records.
